#Exfoliation

#Microdermabrasion

Both Summer and Winter weather causes skin issues.

Winter….. stress and cold weather. is bad news for your skin. At a time when you want to look great for parties and meeting people you haven't seen in a year!! Cold weather, wind, room heating and stress will dehydrate your skin and strip it of oils needed to keep it supple, leading to sensitive, sore, red, flaky and tight skin.

Summer……Sun, chlorine and air conditioning dry out your skin.

#Moisturise at least twice a day. Morning and night. Day creams protect your skin from wind and sun as well as moisturising. Night creams nourish and repair your skin overnight. If you find a day cream alone is not enough, try using a special night cream. Dry skin ages faster than oily skin. Dehydrated skin causes lines, collagen and elastin breakdown faster causing lack of firmness and wrinkles.

#Use a face mask once a week. Choose a nourishing mask for dryness. 10-15 minutes relaxing with a mask can make a big difference to your skin if it is dry. It will also make your skin look brighter and fresher. Perfect skin rescue after a night out. Alcohol and lack of sleep will contribute to dry and dehydrated skin.

#Exfoliating once or twice a week, will remove the top layer of dead skin cells, to help the moisturiser absorb deeper into the skin.

#Use lip balms to prevent lips drying out during the day. A thick layer before bed will act as a night cream. Moisturising and repairing overnight. Use a medicated one if your lips are sore and cracked.

#Use a special eye cream. Skin around your eyes is very thin and sensitive. Heavy creams and oils can cause puffiness. Eye creams are specially formulated to be light and easy to apply without dragging. Dragging or pulling skin around the eyes will contribute to lines and loss of elasticity.
